The TN Women's Cycling Project
Tennessee Women’s Cycling Projectpromotes bicycling as a sport, seeks to improve the riding skills and capabilities of members, and supports those who have the ultimate goal of racing competitively. As a member of the cycling community, TWCP supports cycling as recreation, transportation, and as an approach to improved health. TWCP strives to improve cycling safety among its members and within the community. TWCP members are ambassadors for cycling with a focus on community involvement and promoting cycling among women.
Founded in 2009, the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (“NICA”) develops interscholastic mountain biking programs for student-athletes across the United States. NICA provides leadership, services and governance for regional leagues to produce quality mountain bike events, and supports every student-athlete in the development of strong body, strong mind and strong character through interscholastic cycling.
Trace Bikes works with and sponsors our local NICA teams such as Harpeth Youth Cycling, CPA MTB Team, Williamson County Mountain Bike Team, and more. If you have a middle to high school age kid that would like to give mountain biking a try please contact us or one of the teams listed above.
